Our invasive and noxious weed management team works to protect native habitats and keep our ecosystems in balance. We identify, control, and remove invasive plants that threaten wetlands, streams, prairies, and forests across Oregon and Washington. Every treatment plan is designed to reduce chemical use whenever possible while achieving lasting, effective results. Whether we’re tackling a large-scale infestation or maintaining sensitive habitat areas, our focus is always the same: protecting clean water, supporting native species, and helping natural systems thrive again.

This department is led by Cameron Tilley, Austin Ada, and Aaron Gibson, whose combined experience in vegetation management and habitat restoration sets the standard across the region. As experts in invasive species identification and control, we get the call when others can’t figure out what’s growing… or how to stop it. We also help property owners, HOAs, and organizations stay compliant when they receive letters or notices from city, county, or state agencies about invasive weed control requirements. With decades of field experience and deep knowledge of local ecology, we ensure every site is managed safely, effectively, and in full compliance with environmental regulations. Our work doesn’t just remove weeds — it restores the health and resilience of the ecosystems that make the Pacific Northwest unique.

We had a situation where we were short staffed and the invasive and noxious weeds were overwhelming. I knew we had to call in help. Aaron and his team were amazing in helping us out of this situation. Not only were they very timely, the documentation including photos were greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend the ERSM team for any of your invasive and noxious weed needs.
